2018: DISCOVERY OF AMERICA
Challonge.com/DOA2018
It is a International Tournament for WoT PS4 Clans, organized by clan LEONI on NORTH AMERICAN (NA) SERVER.
It will be played during the first 2 weekends on November 2018
GROUP STAGE: November 3th - 4th, matches starting from 6 p.m. CDT (UTC -5)
DIRECT ELIMINATION STAGE: November 10th - 11th

IMPORTANT!
By subscribing and taking part in this championship, every player accepts ALL the following rules!
CLANS ALLOWED
Any clan can subscribe without restrictions (all players must have their respective clan TAG): it is up to the organizers to accept or refuse subscriptions after messaging the commander of the subscribed clan.
MATCHES
"46" rule: maximum of 6 players with tier maximum of 8, sum of all team tiers cannot exceed 46 (for example: 4 tier 8 tanks + 2 tier 7, or 5 tier 8 + 1 tier 6).
Encounter mode, 10 minutes time limit.
No limits on tank type.
Premium ammo's are allowed.
Each team has 15 minutes of delay allowed, after this time match will start with players that are ready (or won by default if one entire team isn't present).
MAPS
Before the beginning of the championship, 2 maps will be drawn for each tournament match, to be played twice (left and right). All maps will be written on the match calendar here, in this site.
Each map won counts as 1 point.
If the result of a single map is DRAW, no points counted for both teams.
ALL 4 maps have always to be played, cause points difference can be determinant for advancing.
Home clan have to create the training room for the scheduled match - naming it "DOA *home team TAG* vs *away team TAG*" (esempio: "DOA LEONI vs PUMA"), to manage the deployment of teams and the changing of maps, and to write on the OFFICIAL PSN CHAT of the tournament the result of the match (presenting pics or vids in case of dispute). The away team have to confirm on official PSN chat this result.
IMPORTANT: due to training room software, the room creator has to take part in all the 4 battles (of course, he can't remain as observer, because he would see all of the battlefield, and the game can't be started till the creator has chosen the tank). If you have a issue with the room creator or believe they are not following the rules, please use the PSN CHAT to contact a admin.
ROUND ROBIN PHASE
3 points for WIN
1 point for DRAW
0 points for LOSS
In case of draw, 1 points for each team with no need of play-off match
Each team will fight 2 times against group opponents: 1st leg matches on saturday 3th, 2nd leg matches on sunday 4th
The top 2 teams of each Group will advance to Direct Elimination phase
DIRECT ELIMINATION PHASE
Quarter finals and semi finals: 2 matches (1st leg and 2nd leg) with 2 maps played twice like in group stage matches.
Advancing to next stage: like in football champions league but without home/away goals rule. In case of win and points draw at the end of both matches, it have to be played a play off match, encounter mode, 10 min in GHOST TOWN map.
Examples:
Team A - Team B 3-1 2-2 Team A advance to next round, having won more then the opponent
Team A - Team B 3-1 0-4 Team B advance, having score more points with tied victories
Team A - Team B 3-1 1-3 Same victories and points: PLAY OFF map on Ghost town
Team A - Team B 2-1 0-1 Same victories and points: PLAY OFF map on Ghost town
Team A - Team B 2-2 2-2 Same victories and points: PLAY OFF map on Ghost town
Finals (for 1st and 3rd place) will be played in only one match (2 maps to be played twice). Play off map in case of Draw after the 4 maps
DEPLOYMENT
The player who created the room, once all players are ready, should put ALL of them in OBSERVER mode for 3 minutes (this makes it possible for each player to choose their tank without letting any enemy know their choice). In these 3 minutes all players have to choose the tank.
After 3 minutes, with no other warning needed, the room creator will remove "observer mode" and will start the match.
ATTENTION: Tanks chosen (or NOT chosen) CANNOT BE CHANGED after the observer mode is removed, if this rule is broken you may receive an automatic defeat for that single battle. If a player hasn't chosen the tank when observer mode is removed, he can't participate in that single battle.
NOTE: It is possible to switch players within a team between one map and another: there can be more than 6 clan members in the training room, as long as only 6 choose the tank and the others do not choose a tank (be careful because having deployed more than 6 tanks will cause a automatic lose on the map). No one can remain in observer mode.
PSN CHAT
It's the official chat of the championship, named "DISCOVERY OF AMERICA 2018", where all official announcements are written, where teams write results of matches and where appeal requests or penalties are written.
In this chat the Commander of the clan that subscribed will be added, then the commander himself can add up to 2 other clan members of his choice; this chat has to be used just for official communications and for requests regarding tournament rules: its forbidden to write personal opinions or anything else that isn't official.
PENALTIES/SANCTIONS
Each appeal request has to be written to one of the organizers (nicknames: Dardan73 or TheMonster17).
Championship organizers have the right to make unquestionable decisions.
In particular, any unfair behavior will be severely punished, so its recommended for all players to behave with fair play.
PRIZES
Wargaming supports the tournament and assign prizes to top 3 teams:
1st place 3,000,000 silver (for each member of team)
2nd place 2,000,000 silver (for each member of team)
3rd place 1,000,000 silver (for each member of team)
